@clith indeed, in the end it doesn't matter who implemented microblogging first, people want to be able to form their own communities, and use their own servers.
Still, pownce was more based on sharing files and events, while it did also provide the ability to send 140 character messages that wasn't what it was designed for. As such, calling it a twitter ripoff is a little harsh :/

@alexleonard Inkscape and Illustrator are very different beasts, I find them suited to different tasks, along with Xara LX. As for scribus, absolute shite compared to InDesign :(

@myrtti micro-bluetooth adapters solve that, and most netbooks can easily be modded to have internal bluetooth as well (it voids the warranty, but meh)

@teemu any reason you don't just use your phone as a bluetooth modem? never got why people would have any use for joiku spot anymore because of that.

a VNC viewer? irunno, I've been hard pressed to find anything I need to install in additon to the default software anymore.
